Monopoly City - Top Christmas Toy For 2009
Monopoly has been around for years and Hasbro regularly release different variations of the well-loved board game. These are usually branded incarnations of the original game (e.g. The Simpsons Monopoly). This time around, Hasbro have introduced a new element into the game: 3D.
Instead of building apartments and hotels on each square, you now build your empire in zones inside the board, all in 3D. Build stadiums or skyscrapers. Each time you play you'll end up with a completely unique cityscape consisting of the right type of buildings to maximise your profits whilst driving your opponent's property values down!
It's described as a "metropolitan edition" of Monopoly and it certainly breaks new ground. It's perfect for kids aged 8+ and is a favourite hit with families at Christmastime.
